Mother's Day

Yesterday was Mother's Day.  It was the first mother's day in our whole lives that Jon and I did not spend with our mothers.  Jon's Mom is in China and my Mom is in Ca.  Jon got  my mom and I web cams just before we left for Washington, so we set mine up yesterday and called my mom.  It was really fun!  Of course seeing her in person and hugging her would have been the best thing ever, but I think the web cam is the second best :)

I wanted to let you know that your mom really enjoyed all the special gifts you got her this week. She was telling me about it at Bible study last night. It was really cool that you and Jon made her feel so special even though you were not here.
