What do you love about where you live?

I love the weather!  And I love Pike Place Market.  It is so awesome being able to walk two minutes down the street from work and get fresh fruit or vegetables.  Any type of cuisine you could think of.  We have all these local vendors with awesome booths set up everyday in the market, and the fresh flowers!  OMG, big, huge, bouquets of flowers which last about two weeks, they are beautiful!!  I love everything about Seattle!  (Even the hippies, sorry Jon)  The shopping is pretty awesome, too!  Up the street is a 6 floor Macy's (which takes up the whole block) across the street from that is a 3 floor Gap, a five floor Nordstrom, a two floor Borders, which also takes up the whole block.  And the views are amazing!  From our balcony we have a beautiful view of the Sound and the Olympics.  The view from work is a beautiful view of the Sound and Alki Peninsula, and of course the Olympics in the distance!  And there are TONS of restaurants all over the place.  We do have some big chain restaurants, but mostly they are little privately owned by local chefs, just amazing food :)
